#ChickLitMay Book Boyfriend Blog Hop!
Greetings, constituents! I understand you have an election going on for something called a “book boyfriend.” Normally, I do not like to “toot my own horn” as you Americans say, but my wife, Sydney, told me I had no choice. She can be very persuasive. Those big brown eyes can get me to do many things I did not think I would do.
Enough about my gorgeous wife! My name is LOUIS DURAND and I am quite humbled to ask for your vote for this auspicious title for 2017. I am but an ordinary man who grew up on a farm in the south of France. I spent my childhood raising animals, caring for my elderly grandparents and building computers. Well, building anything really. I like to work with my hands as well as my brain. My wife often refers to me as her “French MacGyver.” I am still not sure what this means, but it seems to make her smile. Ouch! I am sorry, I have been told by my wife to stop mentioning her, as her presence will do little to garner votes. My apologies! You ladies are clearly my focus at present. <smoldering gaze>
This is rather embarrassing for me, but I have often been told my accent is “dreamy,” my eyes are the most beautiful blue in existence and my ability to romance a woman is unparalleled. <blushes> I honestly do not know if any of these things are true. I just speak from my heart. Although I suppose it does not hurt that I know how to make a woman feel beautiful, and, what’s the word? Sensual? I did mention how much I like to work with my hands, did I not?
